Field Notes

The front nine finishes with a true powerhouse. The tee shot is elevated and the fairway climbs uphill the entire way to the green.

A deep, narrow green awaits, guarded by hungry bunkers to the right. This hole plays much longer than the yardage suggests, so taking extra club is essential.

  • The fairway climbs uphill from tee to green. Take extra club on every shot in.
  • Favor the right side of the fairway. Anything left is likely to find trouble.
  • Shawnee Run Creek crosses the hole but rarely affects the tee shot unless you top it.
  • A bogey is a solid score on the toughest hole on the front nine. Do not force it.

Putting Tips

This green is deep and narrow, so precise distance control on your approach makes all the difference on the greens.

  • The green is narrow, so most misses leave a putt from off one side or the other.
  • Because the approach plays uphill, distance control off the tee and fairway matters more than the putt itself.
  • Two-tier tendencies mean pin position changes the read considerably.
  • Take your time here. This green rewards a patient, committed stroke.
