Course Strategy

Plenty of Character

A short par three with plenty of character. The tee shot looks inviting: a short iron to a big green. But if you miss, your troubles have just begun.

This downhill tee shot makes it hard to get the right wrench in your hand. Get that right number and it offers a good chance for birdie.

Golf Shop Talk (FAQ)

How much club should I take off?

Since the tee shot is significantly downhill, take one less club than the yardage suggests, but respect the size of the green.

Where is the trouble?

The bunkers guarding the green are deep and punishing. Aim for the center of the green to avoid a difficult up-and-down.

Is this a birdie hole?

Absolutely. As the 17th handicap hole, it offers a great opportunity to score if you hit the proper club off the tee.

What about the wind?

The tee is sheltered, but the ball will be exposed to the wind above the treeline. Check the treetops before selecting your club.
