Hole #18 is a spectacular closer. From an elevated tee, you can see the fairway rolling toward the clubhouse, framed perfectly by the landscape.
Big hitters can go after it in two, but the green is elevated and well protected. It is the perfect ending to a round that is equal parts beauty, challenge, and memory.
- Shawnee Run Creek crosses well short of the green, mostly in play for those laying up or mishitting a long approach.
- The elevated green plays longer than the yardage suggests. Take an extra club on the approach.
- The smart play is a layup to your favorite yardage and an aggressive pitch.
- Big hitters can get home in two thanks to the elevated tee, but the green must be carried the entire way.
Putting Tips
The elevated green is well protected by bunkers, so getting the ball on the correct tier matters as much as the line.
- Green Depth is 39 yards, so club selection into the tiers is critical.
- Take extra care on any putt that crosses a ridge between tiers.
- A two-putt closes out the round nicely. Do not get greedy on the final green.
- Finish strong. A good read here can turn a solid round into a great one.
