The tee shot at #8 is not easy, but it is only the beginning. Left off the tee leaves you a chance, while right is nearly impossible to play from.
The true test is the approach. A deep bunker guards the front of the green, so coming up short is not an option, but going long leaves a difficult up-and-down.
- Favor the left side of the fairway. The right side is trouble.
- The front bunker is deep. Take enough club to clear it with room to spare.
- A pond lurks nearby and can catch a wild slice, so stay committed to your line.
- This is a demanding, honest hole that rewards confidence and punishes indecision.
