Course Design & Character

Plush bentgrass fairways and greens are protected by a thoughtful bunker scheme. Multiple teeing areas and
larger greens make the course playable for every skill level. EagleSticks clearly favors accuracy over power:
with frequent elevation changes and position-focused approaches, playing from the correct spots is rewarded.

“It’s very rolling and there is an elevation change on every hole… We’re not a long golf course, but because of
the undulating greens and the severity of our rough—if you don’t play from the right spots, it’s hard to get the ball
close to the hole.”

— Kelly Morrow, General Manager (formerly Head Professional)

Signature Holes

No. 11 • Par 5 (591 yards from the blues)

A downhill par 5 moving slightly right-to-left. A creek splits the fairway about 250 yards from the hole and a stream
guards the left approach. The bridge incorporates historic corn crib timbers from the McClelland family farm.

No. 8 • Par 4 (437 yards)

A demanding tee shot to a narrow landing area—out-of-bounds and a creek guard the left. The approach climbs
30–40 feet to a raised, well-bunkered green that slopes from back to front.

Recognition

EagleSticks has earned consistent praise from major golf publications and organizations, including recognition by
Golf Digest early in the club’s history and top public-course honors in Ohio in subsequent years.
