Scenic Elevation Changes
You’ll start from an elevated tee box with a dramatic downhill tee shot toward Shawnee Run Creek below. The creek crosses in front of the green, coming into play on your second or third shot depending on how aggressively you choose to play this hole.
After crossing the creek, your approach climbs back uphill to a 34-yard deep green protected by bunkers.
Strategic decisions off the tee and smart club selection on your approach will be key to scoring well on this scenic, elevation-changing par five.

Shawnee Run Creek
Down / Up
Is the creek in play off the tee?
Generally no, but a massive downhill drive could reach the rough before it. The creek primarily affects the second shot.
Can I reach the green in two?
It is possible for long hitters, but the uphill approach makes it play longer than the yardage suggests.
How does the uphill approach play?
Add at least one extra club. The elevation gain is significant, and you do not want to leave it short in the hill.
Where is the safe layup?
Lay up short of the creek if you are unsure, or cross it to the flat area 100 yards out for a simple wedge in.
