A Deceptive Uphill Climb
Welcome to hole number twelve. This par three plays 180 yards from the gold tees and presents a deceptive challenge with a significant uphill climb to the green.
The elevation change makes it difficult to see what the three-tiered green has in store for you from the tee box.
Club selection is critical here—don’t be fooled by the yardage. Take an extra club and trust your swing.

How much extra club do I need?
Due to the significant uphill climb, take at least one extra club (10 yards). If the pin is back, consider two extra clubs to clear the tier.
What is the main defense of this hole?
The three-tiered green. Being on the green but on the wrong tier can lead to a very difficult three-putt.
Are there bunkers?
No sand bunkers protect this green, but the steep grass slopes can be just as punishing if you miss short or wide.
Where should I aim?
Take dead aim at the center of the green. Chasing a tucked pin on a tiered green like this is risky business.
