Small Hole, Big Personality
Hole 16 offers a blind tee shot and it is deceiving. This hole features a small layout but carries a massive personality, typical of pure EagleSticks design.
This is a hole where laying up is not the best play, so give it a rip. A confident swing is rewarded, while indecision can lead to a tricky approach.
A ball that looks down the middle almost always finishes left. And a ball that looks right many times is perfect.

Where should I aim?
Aim slightly right of center. The fairway has a significant kick to the left that you can’t see from the tee.
Should I hit Driver?
Yes, “give it a rip.” Laying up often leaves an awkward distance and angle. Being closer to the green simplifies the approach.
What makes it deceiving?
The terrain moves the ball after it lands. A ball down the middle finishes left, and a ball that looks pushed right often ends up perfect.
How deep is the green?
It is only 27 yards deep, one of the smallest targets on the back nine, requiring precise distance control with your wedge.
